I am having problems with finding something new to eat. I have been cheating the past couple of months and have put on about 10 pounds. Don't like that one bit. I know its because I am tired of eating plain ol protien things. Does anyone have a website, etc where I could go and find some good recipes that are fairly quick and simple? ANY help is appreciated! I have worked so hard to come this far and don't want to continue screwing it up. Maybe I just need to get back to basics and start over? Does anyone have the plateau buster diet? Gonna try to kick start things back in gear again. HELP!! Judy

Hi Judy... I have about 80 some odd pages of recipes from the WLS board for Alabama that was emailed to me. I'll be glad to email it to you. I just need an email address for you. There are several protein drinks in the recipes as well. I've tried several of the recipes and so far, its all been great!!! Karine [email protected]

I have those recipes from AL too, and they are good. I do some simple things also - like taking a whole grain wrap (flour tortilla wraps) crisp in the oven, then put drained tuna or chicken cut up fine, diced onion, canned drained tomatoes with italian seasoning, cover with cheese, put back in oven until cheese melts for a nice mini pizza. Or take the same multigrain wraps and make a quick wrap with lettuce, chicken or other meat, cheese of some sort, could add some kind of light dressing that you like. I keep the low-fat smoked sausage on hand, lots of crunchy veggies (celery, carrot, radishes), fish (plain old whiting from Walmart) to bake for my lunches with "Grillmates" seasoning. Those are some of my staples, plus Kroger brand low carb yogurt that has whey protein added, and Kroger low-fat cottage cheese. If I am baking fish, I usually have some stir fry vegetables. I just buy the frozen stir fry veggies from Walmart - Walmart brand cooked with a little soy sauce. I love them. Good luck - DeAnna

I have to put my two cents in for South Beach Diet foods. The wraps are quite tasty and just one wrap has 10 gr. of protien. I don't eat chicken (I barf) but the turkey and ham is great and I can make two meals off it. They aren't very expensive either. I eat the fake Krab quite a bit. I loved it before surgery and it is saving my bum after surgery. Meghan

Yes ma'am, Ms. D...those be the ones. I've only had the turkey and ham ones because I barf when I eat chicken but for a quickie meal I like them. 22gr of protein and dijion mustard, how can that not be yummy? I do plan to try any of them as long as they have no soy in them. I'll let you know. Meghan
