I bought a bicycle.
Sam and I went to Wal-Mart Friday night to look at bicycles.
I wanted the Cruiser. Plain ole bicycle. Only goes as fast (or as slow) as I make it go.
But NOooooo !! he talked me into (rather I just went along with him) buying the 26" ladies Mountain bike !!
We took that bike home and I rode it around the front yard. I felt like I was in a vehicle with cruise on that wouldn't turn off ! Decided I needed a larger seat (for the bike, not me) . When I went in the house David and Jonathan asked me why I was walking funny (didn't know I was). I told them there must still be a bike seat up in there somewhere !
While in Jackson Saturday we went to Target but forgot to look for larger bike seats.
Didn't remember until Sunday morning. Now that was a sign for me ! Sam took the Mountain Bike back and bought the Cruiser, plain ole bicycle.
I had so much fun riding that bicycle yesterday. Not sure how many miles I rode but speculate it to be about 6 miles. And I didn't walk funny when I got off the bicycle. Nice seat...the bicycle's ...not mine. BUT (butt) mine doesn't hang over both sides of the bicycle seat ...that was one of my requirements.
I actually feel really good today.

I have one of the ladies' bikes with umpteen speeds, much easier to ride than a "plain ole bike", specially on hills. But yes, you definitely have to buy one of the padded seats to go on there. That thing that comes on there will KILL your hiney.
Biking is much more fun that walking to me, the scenery goes by so much faster.
Cheryl, you are such a nut!!! Glad you could find yourself a bike thats comfy for your butt... lol. Maybe when I get down to your size or smaller, I'll invest in a bike, but right now, theres no freakin way I'm going to get my big butt on a bicycle.... I will definitely be walking funny... lol.
