Psych eval - Northern MS

I am going to be having WLS in the next month or two and am having trouble finding a Psychologist or Psychiatrist in the Tupelo area that is "WLS friendly". I spoke to one today that said the eval is 2 hours and she charges another two hours to do the report..cost $800. No thanks. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!! - Linda

Hey, Congradulations on the surgurey. I know a very good one in Meridian MS... Dr. James Gilbert. He had the surgury himself. But I don't know any in Tupelo sorry Joyce

I used Dr. Roland Lee PHD. from memphis . thats kind of close to Tupelo .

Linda, Sometimes your Doctors Office WLS Coordinator can recommend someone WLS friendly. What Dr are you using? I live in Iuka and it was suggested I to go to Timber Hills in Corinth. But they could not see me for weeks so choose another Psy*****orinth and she was a nut job. $450.00 and she would not fill the report out right. She was afraid of being sued. I had to explain that to my insurance company to help get my approval. It's best to do a little research and drive a little ways if you have to. I wish you the best of luck. Cindi M
