Have any one ast level been 42 or high mine was 42 I'am worry.

Hey sweetie - You do mean the AST level (liver enzymes). I believe the normal is from 5 to 43, so 42 is in the normal range...What did your doctor say? Is this a big change for you, what does it normally run? (always ask your doctor if you are unsure of ANYTHING) DeAnna

If this is liver enzymes.......it is common to have elevated numbers during rapid weight loss. ECHO OF DEANNA------CALL THE DOCTOR OR HIS NURSE. Don't stress. It may be nothing. Have a great day!!! glenda
