support group meeting Meridian

Hello everyone !! Go**** seems like we just HAD a meeting, huh ?? I guess with September's holiday - it threw us off a week. ANYWAY - we'll be having another Gastric Bypass Support Group Meeting @ East Mississippi Electric Power Association - auditorium - Monday - October 2, 2006 @ 5:30 pm. Please use the south side door entrance - if you don't mind. Again - I'll have something we all can snack on & drink (legal). I really enjoyed James Gilbert's "talk" - to us this last time -- it really hit home with ME - cause its always gonna be a battle of the bulge for me for the rest of my life. This surgery is truly a "miracle" - but no magic bullet - only a tool -- so I CANNOT go c-r-a-z-y --- grazing (as I call it) & slowly put BACK on what I've lost - or I'll be in deep trouble !! Shelly Atwood (a nurse @ NAS in Meridian) will come & speak to our group in November. She has really done well & had the surgery several years ago. I'm sure we'll all enjoy her again -- as she spoke to our group some time back - when we were meeting behind the Winstead Realtly building over a year ago. Please come & join in & invite others - if you like - even those who have not had the surgery - but just want to ask questions & observe. Any & all are welcome. P.S. Is there a Lapband support group meeting in the Meridian area?

Well I am not sure that there is a support group in Meridian just for lap band but you are move than welcome to come and join us. Joyce
