I went for my first visit today!

The journey begins... I was told the next step is to wait for approval from the insurance company. Any idea how long that will take?

Boy, that varies. I know some people it takes months and others weeks and then others days. It took 2 weeks for me to hear back from my insurance company and get my approval letter. After I got the approval then I could have surgery at any time. I know my surgeon could have done it that same week. But I chose to have it 2 months later because of holidays and work related things.
