Sonya???Barry??
Yep - I would put a 2.5+ hour drive on the list of maybe too much this soon - you would probably feel overdone by the time you got home.....
We will all get together here as soon as you and Arlies are up to it...We'll go somewhere you can get a nice potato soup or see what you have graduated to by then, probably in about two weeks you two should be up to that.
And yeah on the 25 gone -
DeAnna
Yeahhh Meghan! You are doing so great! I am so glad you are doing so good......
I wish you could go to Jane's, but that would be hard on you right now and everyone will know you are not up to that big a trip so soon after your surgery!
I am with DeAnna, as soon as you and Arlies are up to it, we can all meet for lunch or supper somewhere and visit! So, you girls have to get yourselves into tip-top shape so we can have some "girl" time!
Love ya,
Marci
Yes, we took over the post - sorry - but, in our defense, it was all about getting to your place tomorrow - LOL -
Did you ever hear from Bear or Sonya? Are they in the address book that Arlies made up? I lost mine when I changed e-mails....Maybe give them a call and tell them we all want them there. I would LOVE to see them both, and anybody else who has not posted lately, hope they all got the word...
Can't wait until tomorrow. Think I will bring those - almost sf cheesecake pies - they have a little bit of light cool whip mixed with light and ff cream cheese and splenda - I have never dumped on them, so very minimal sugar. Got to think of something for a main course yet. Suggestions?
DeAnna
If you can have cream cheese, you might could have the base mix
For one pie I use -
1 ff cream cheese, and 1 low fat cream cheese (2 ff is too blah)
1/2 cup (plus a little more) splenda
2 cups light cool whip (they do have a sf, but have not tried yet)
that's the base for the pie - and it is very cheesecakey tasting all by itself
to form a pie - I put that into a lf graham cracker crust - then take the rest of the cool whip (8 oz) and add some strawberries fresh or frozen (I use frozen) stirred into the cool whip and top off the pie - and chill in fridge -
When you can have all of those items, I will make you one, and bring you half (LOL), cause it will take you forever to eat - doesn't that sound funny now, that you can only nibble on a piece of pie? !!!
DeAnna -
PS - and have you done this yet - I had the wierdest dreams after surgery where I was just surrounded by lots and lots of food and was just eating away - our heads get a little crazy after surgery, and no one can quite explain that to you and you can't quite comprehend it until you have WLS....
D - no pie yet!
