Home again, home again
I am home. The hospital stay was very nice. CMMC has the greatest staff on the planet. EVERYBODY was kind, helpful and efficient. I don't understand what people are talking about when they say CMMC has bad nursing staff. Mine ROCKED!!!
So now I'm just coping with water intake, gas, wound pain, gas, head hunger, gas (anybody out there seeing a pattern?). I must admit I am looking forward to eating real food. Cottage cheese is sounding very very good to me.
Thank you one and all for the kind words. I would never have made it without Karine, Cindi and all the other Mousekateers here at OH. You people rock my world.

in pain but still trying to be
Hidy Ho Girlie!!! I'm soooo glad you're home. I was really surprised to hear from you this morning, but glad you called. I'd do anything to not have to work... You should really call more often... lol. The first couple of weeks are always the hardest. Hang in there and before you know it, you'll be sleeping in your bed again and doing things with your "monkey"... lol. Keep me posted on the weight loss... And please call me if you need help with da youngin!
Take care of yourself and I'll talk to you soon...
Karine
yeah yeah yeah yeah!!! It's so great to hear from your old gassy self - ha - Welcome to our world -
The only dealing with CMMC I have had is when Kim was there, and I don't think she could have gotten better care anywhere. I was very impressed. You just never know how busy and short-handed a hospital can be, so can't please everybody I guess. I'm glad they were good to you.
So, never found out if you live near me or not...I am in Castlewoods....When you are well recovered (know you can't even think about it yet), maybe we can get together and walk or something....and give me a call if you want or have problems or need somebody there quick, I am usually at home (work here too).....I am e-mailing you my number...
Sounds like you are gonna do great, and I'm glad to have the privilege to watch...D
Hey Meghan! Glad you're doing good. Just remember the saying....this too shall pass! Right at first it seems the days crawl by, but before you know it the weeks start rolling past. I can't believe I'm already in the middle of my sixth week.
RE: CMMC
My DH had a heart attack two years ago while we were in Jackson visiting my sister. CMMC was the closest hospital. Neither of us knew anything about it, but we couldn't have asked for any better care....ER to CCU....everybody was great. This past December he was at CMMC again to have two more stents to open additional blocked arteries. I was planning to have my surgery there, but Dr. Cleveland's office and I couldn't agree on the money I would have to pay out of pocket, so I had to look elsewhere.
Take it easy, Girlfriend!!!
