Underwear that fits......

Several of you mentioned that you have problems getting a bra that fits right since when we have gastric, the Boobs just evaporate away...... I went to Victoria's Secret. They will measure you and let you know what size bra you wear. I did buy a bra there, it was about $50 bucks! But the measuring services are free and you are not obligated to buy anything if you don't want to. My bra does fit and ever since I am buying that size and it does seem to work, however the fit does vary with the manufacturer. Wal-Mart is very understanding if you take a bunch of bras into the dressing room and try them on. I had to do that in order to find out the best fit also. These are just suggestions, please let me know if you have some ideas.... Cheryl

Cheryl, That is a good idea. I didn't realize that Vic. Secret offered those services. I know most of the department stores too, and there is always Sal Liz. I am going to have to do something very soon. Mine are either half empty cups, or the boobs slip out underneath. It's a pain in the bootie! Who knew! HUGS! K

Victoria Secrets Bras are the BOMB... It may cost $50 but to me it is worth every penny. I have a couple of them and they are great. I buy the "push up" ones, makes me look like I actually have some boobs left, LOL... Not so itty bitty... I also like their panties in there. I buy the "hip hugger" style because I have so many of the jeans and pants that are low riders that those are the most comfy.. They are usually 4 pair for $20 or $25, but there again, to me they are worth it. Very comfy.. Best of luck! Rhonda

I like the bra I bought there also, although I was in shock over the price! But it does fit well and is very comfortable and my clothes look great. The panties are not cut right for me however, I still have not found the best brand for me. I have tried lots.... You are looking wonderful! Cheryl

Oh, WOW!!! I can hardly wait till I can shop at Victoria's Secret (neither can my hubby). I had my yearly "girlie" checkup on Wednesday....my doc and I were discussing that it seems to me that a fatty tumor/cyst that I've had on the left side since last year seems to have gotten bigger. I told him, shoot, one of these days when I've lost all my weight, I might be proud of that cyst.....might be all I'll have holding it up!! LOL!!! I'll just need one to match on the right side. Of course, I'd like to have a lift someday.....so I could have me some "pointers," instead of "setters"......but I'll never be able to afford that. So Victoria get ready for me, I'm coming over one of these days!!! Pam
