FREE SURGERY

I just heard on Fox News that Travis County,Texas is going to give free by pass surgery to it's county employees. They say, so many are obese, this may help with better attendence, better health overall. Now, THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. We can hope that the rest of the country will take notice and respond accordingly. At least, maybe the insurance companies will notice and remove the NO GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY CLAUSE! I doubt Mississippi will ever think of its employees,lol. Dont anyone hold their breathe. I wi**** would for all its employees. So many people need the operations, but state insurance ain't worth a toot.

It is about time!!! Mississippi has the MOST obese people in the nation but it is often the slowest to act, If all of us would write our state representatives perhaps we could light a fire under them!!! Mississippi is the most underserved state in the nation, it is time that people demand more services from our governments which benefit people. Hopefully bunches of people will sue the insurance companies and make them provide benefits. Their latest trick is that if they find out you have had Gastric by pass, they will not insure you!!!! So we all have to lie for a year so that the insurance will cover pre existing conditions. If they know you have it, then they will not cover you at all..... Cheryl
