Sinus medicines?
I took the regular sudafed. The little red pills. They are itty bitty. I was about a month or so out when I got a sinus infection. I ended up having to get an anitbiotic which did have to be liquid. If you have to get an antibiotic make sure they give you one that is very mild. I was given one that was used to treat sinus infections, but it was just too strong even in the liquid form. It made me so sick I ended up in the ER where they gave me a drip of fluids and of antibiotics. They changed my antibiotic to a kid friendly antibiotic like Amoxycillin. Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, be careful with the antibiotics, after surgery I had an infection (inscional) and they gave me liquid augmentin (penecillin) and that junk was sooooooo nasty! I had to take three tablespoons full three times a day, and I threw it up. Your pouch is really sensitive after surgery, and at first they gave me this huge horsepill to take, and I couldn't even swallow it, I drank water to try to make it go down and not to be gross or anything, but it came right back up almost like a baby spitting up. It was awful, and the augmentin is really rough on your stomach. Its really hard to take meds the first few months after surgery. I personally would rather just take a shot and get it over with. Sometimes with those stubborn sinus infections a shot aint enough. Well good luck with whatever you end up taking, maybe you won't be sick. Everyone is different.

Hi Karine,
Hope you feel better, with the pollen count and the weather changing my sinus's have been crazy. I'm not a big pill taker so I've really looked for other forms for lots of stuff. The sinus med I really like is Sudafed pe quick dissolve strips. Strong cherry flavor but the do the job.
