Question for any of Dr. Salameh's patients.....
Hey Brandi,
He didn't put me on one. He said not to gain any weight if possible. I was 376 lbs. I'm down to 231 now, on the 26th I'll be a year out. I've not been able to walk since Feb. so my weight loss is a little less than what it should be. 7 months down gets you a little behind But as soon as I'm able to get around, I plan on hitting the trail & walk my arse off
You'll love Dr. S. he i s a sweet heart. I really like, trust & admire him.

That's good news. I was nervous about that. Not that I wouldn't do anything he asked of me.....I just wouldn't like it, lol.
145 lbs. in a year is AWESOME!!!!! Give yourself credit, walking or not. I've heard lots of people say that he is a nice, kind man. I'm looking forward to meeting him.

Hey Brandi,
Dr.Adams put me on a liquid diet about five days before surgery. The most solid thing I could have was runny mashed potatoes. Be prepared to drink the most horrible tasting junk you will ever encounter... this clear drink you buy at the drug store that tastes like bitter alkaseltzer.. gross!!! I gag just thinking about that junk. I chased mine with diet sprite, that was the only way I could get it down. its really YUCKY!! it is supposed to clean you out really good, which, believe me it does! As much as you have done with the NutriSystem and WW, I don't see why they would make you do anything else, unless its like to shrink your liver, I have had more than one person tell me their doc had them do a special diet for that purpose. Trust me, if at all possible you want to do it laproscopially, I had to have mine open, and it was no fun at all!!
take care
Crystal
