A little date change please?
Okay, apparently there are no surgeries going on during 9/11 at CMMC. I think this is because they don't want to tempt fate given that the day is so traumatic for the country/world.
That being said, I have a new surgery date....DRUMROLL PLEASE!!!
September 18, 2006. 17 days after my wedding anniversary. 7 days after 9/11. September is chocked full of anniversaries for me. Used to be it was just a date that meant school was back in full swing for another year.
On my first rebirthday I plan to:
Cross my legs
Buy new underpants
Run after my kid
Take my dog on an hour long walk
Stand at the stove and cook an entire meal without sitting down
Wow, this is really going to happen. Go figure
Meghan
Meghan,
That puts us on the same day! We have been in touch since the beginning and now we are going to have our new birthdays on the same day!
You know I wish you the best! We both had to deal with Anthem.
On my first rebirthday I plan to:
Walk up a hill without feeling like passing out.
Cross my legs.
Buy something at Victoria Secret besides Lotion.
Wear high heel shoes.
Walk on the beach without struggling to breath.
Not sweat all the time.
I will be thinking about you on the 18th!!

September is a big month for me too. The 19th is my birthday and the 21st is my 15th wedding anniversary. My SIL has a birthday the 11th and my hubby's step mom's is the 13th. My sister's anniversary is in Sept too. So is my hubby's sister's anniversary. We get all of our celebrating done in one month LOL. So, the 18th is a good day. Congrats.
Melissa
Hey Melissa... I called Adam about it because I was thinking it was surgery related. But, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that this stuff happened before surgery as well and thats what I told Adam. So, we just assumed it had nothing to do with surgery. Adam told me to call him back, if it got worse. The pain was gone the next day and I'm feeling fine now. I still don't know what it was...
Thanks for asking!

So proud you are having surgery. That day at Brookhaven I could tell you were down and out and so wanting a surgery date. I wish you and your sweet little boy a great future. You will love the new you and be so happy running around with him. I enjoy my life so much now and I am so active --it is so wonderful to be pain free --most of the time. No back pain and I can shop til I drop. You will be shpping up a storm. So glad its happening for you---you surely deserve it. I don't always post but know I read each post and pray for you. I will remember you especially the 18th.
Love and prayers
Jane
