It hurts...

I'm not sure what this means, but I woke up this morning with my upper back hurting. It hurts to breathe deep. Even when I hiccup. What could this mean? I've never had this before. Karine

Do you have a fever? The only time I've ever been in pain when I took a deep breath, I was also running a fever, and have pneumonia.

Could be gall stones if you still have gall bladder. I had chest pain with gall stones but I've heard people sometimes have pain between the shoulder blades.
