Just a question to you I am having really bad night sweats. I wake up and I am soaked and my sheets are too. I have to change everything. Sometimes it happens more than one time each nghit. Never during the day. What do you think about this. It is not food related I don't think. I have been making sure I am not eating sweets or anything like that. Any suggestions? Jane

Hate to say it, Jane, but it sounds like good old hot flashes to me. How old are you, if you don't mind me asking? I had to get off Premarin 30 days before my surgery. The next day after surgery I had a flash and the nurses couldn't figure out what was going on. I told them that I hadn't been taking my Premarin and they had that reinstated. I didn't have any more flashes but I have gotten a little flushed feeling a few times. When I talked to the NP for my 1 week check, she said I was not supposed to resume Premarin for 30 days due to the risk of bloodclots. I told her they did it in the hospital and she said to keep on taking them then. Pam

I turned 40 Aug 11th. I had missed 4 periods and finally had one this month. It could be hormonal I suppose. I am somewhat worried and I don't know if I should be. I may go get it cked out. Thanks Jane

Please do go have it checked out. It is probably nothing, but better be safe than sorry. I went through something similar a few months ago, went to the doctor and they put me on hormones, after a couple of weeks of taking them, I was still having the same symptoms and was feeling shaky and a bit on edge, so I quit taking them, changed my antidepressant back to celexa and have been fine ever since. I wish you the best of luck, and keep us updated. Are we still having the bash at your place, if so, what can I do to help? I might could come over one day on the weekend and help you with the plans. Love, Rhonda

sounds like something hormonal is going on...Could it be pre or early menopausal symptoms? Some women do have that early. Sometimes hereditary; did your mom/sisters/aunts have early menopause or early symptoms? I had night sweats every now and then when I was really overweight. I started having hormonal "problems" (night sweats mostly) before I had surgery, luckily after losing weight that problem went away. Probably would not hurt to talk to your doctor about, cause anything hormonal that changes, could be checked out. Sorry, I know that is such an anoying problem.... DeAnna

I have them too. I heard that there is now a medication that makes them better because you cannot take premarin over 10 years due to risk of cancers. I wish I could find something that can help cause I have them both day and night. One minute burning up and the next feeling cold....??????? Cheryl
