pray for my friend Katrina
My friend from Washington that came down to see her husband Joe off to Iraq is leaving for home today. She has been here since Thurs night and has had time with her husband all these days. She is taking off from Gulfport at 11:35 am todya. I cannot imagine telling Tommy goodbye for one year. It is so tough for them. We have talked everyday since she got here and then visited with them last night for several hours. They are precious. They have 4 kids and the baby is only 2 I believe. Joe is surely going to miss his kids and Katrina. Just pray for them and thank God for your freedom. Joe will likely go overseas sometime around Sept 1st. He is not for certain.
Thanks
Jane
That would definitely be hard being apart for that long but also knowing where he is going to be would make it that much harder. It is not good over there.
I saw a sign the other day that really put things into perspective. We all need to remember this.
This is what it said: "America is the home of the free because of the brave." How true that is!!

Jane,
I can not even begin to imagine how Joe and Katrina must feel. My prayers are with them. I pray that God will give Katrina the peace that she will need to know that God will bring Joe safely home. And I pray that God will give Joe peace in knowing that He (God) is in control and everything will be ok.
May God Bless you for being a dear friend to them.
Jo
Saying goodbye to our husbands is the hardest part of the job of military wife. It is so lonely at home when they are gone. You go through so many stages of emotions while they are away and when they come home there is an adjustment period too. I will make certain to keep her and her family in my prayers.
Hugs,
Danielle
I agree with Danielle on that one. Being a military wife is one of the hardest jobs I have. The uncertainty of it all will drive you insane. There are a lot of times that they can not tell us where they are going and when they will be back, it is NO fun!! I will keep her and her family in my prayers as well.
Miss you Jane!!
