How many of you get offended at those stupid Nutrisystem ads with the skinny blond chick talks about going from a size 8 to a size 2. POOR BABY!!! I'm so sorry she was such a whale. Can you imagine how she felt in a bathing suit? I'm suprised she could even show her face! I'm so happy for her for feeling wonderful when she finally got to be a size 2 in a bikini. I mean, what's a girl to do??? [/sarcasm off] Good grief! When will it end? She felt awful about herself at a size 8???? Judas priest what are we teaching our daughters? We have 3 year old girls throwing fits to wear makeup and thong panties. 5 year olds saying they are fat, not eating and over exercising. Thank god for Dove! I love their campaign for real beauty. Let's see real women, not these hyperthyroid racehorses called models. Thank god for Diane Keaton, Camryn Manheim, Jennifer Tilly and Maggie Smith. We age. We aren't skinny. We are more than just a place to hang pretty clothes and bear children. I couldn't agree more...What is america teaching our kids??? To ******oexic?? My four year old is already saying she has a 'fat booty'!! I don't think she knows what a fat booty is yet!!!! well just glad to see its not just me that feels that way about that stupid nutrisystem commerical!! crystal

I hear ya!!! It is unreal that a size 8 would be on a weight loss program. I would have liked to have taken her shopping with me in search of size 34 or 36 dresses, underwear, and size 52DD bras. It's just not so easy to buy them off the rack. Yes--I love Dove beauty bars. And the commercials. You are so right about body images. glenda

Oh, Meghan, I'm so glad you posted this. My DH has to hear me "gripe" every time that commercial comes on. It seems like the Nutrisystem company doesn't have a clue to air something like that. It sure didn't inspire me to try Nutrisystem instead of having WLS. I think it's Slim Fast that has a commercial with an attractive, CURVY young woman dancing in a red dress. I like that one because she's not real skinny and it kind of has a look-at-how-far I've come attitude. Seems more real. Thanks for giving me a chance to vent. Pam

I haven't seen it so i can't say it offends me or not, BUT I did see a picture of Nicole Ritchey and was frightned at how terriable she looks! Why would anybody want to do that to themselves? I guess shes has issues, and needs some therapy! I might need to go with her, i sit here today a size 8 and im still fat! yhea i know , whatever can't help the way i feel! I cryed when i looked at pictures i took this weekend, i looked like a hog next to all my friends, what gives ? dawn
