HI everyone! I'm home from the hospital and feeling pretty good. I have one spot on my left side that is still pretty sore, but other than that, I'm good. I have to really thank Jane for coming to my aid on Wednesday. She was wonderful and made sure I had everything I needed. Clean sheets, clean gown, helped me bathe etc...etc... She is wonderful and a true angel. She even called me again yesterday to check on me. I'm looking forward to startin my walking again. I was almost to 2mi a day when I went into surgery. Thanks again for the well wishes! -Pam

So glad you are home, and yes, Jane is a Godly woman with a humble spirit and a kind heart. She is truly an example to me. And oh, that pain on the left side, is where the deepest incisions are, where they rerouted your stomach, and a VERY normal pain that most of us had after surgery for a good little while.. I remeber that after a few days, Tylenol (or your pain meds if you still need) really took the edge off, and I was just relieved that was really about all the pain I had. Sounds like you are going to do just great! DeAnna

I am glad you are doing so well. Just a blessing from above. God is good. Like Deanna said that pain is where alot of the work was done and it will be tender for a while. Thanks for the compliment but I love to nuture and pamper. Every baby I can get my hands on I love to bathe and powder and cream. Just love me some bath time!! I was "devastated" you didn't have cream the other day so I could slather you down. haha You were lucky girl. They say I am a true co dependent person in that I take care of everyone. My mom is like that. I guess it was just passed down. Please feel free to post or call if you need me. Give baby Jack a big sloppy kiss for me. What did he do when he saw you? Was he mad at you or excited? Sometimes they kind of back off and act funny when we leave them for a while. Gotta run. Saturdays with the kids home. My 5th grader is signing up for football and my 19 yr old is mowing and cleaning around the house. Jill my 7 yr old is 'bored" so I need to get her a job QUICK. Just our typical Sat around here. It is sooooo hot already and dew still on the ground. Love ya Jane

Thanks again Jane, you're the best. As dry as I was feeling at the hospital, I probably could have used that rub down. Jack is glad to have mommy home. Mom brought him by on Friday before they released me. He wasn't too sure and didn't want to have much to do with me at first. He's over that now and doesn't understand why mommy is playing and thowing him around like she normally does. I'll be better soon and can play more with him again and over the months, I'll be a more fun mommy than before. Sounds like you had a busy day. I hope it was good to you! -Pam

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I had a great Dr, a great hospital, a great neighbor (Pam C) and made a great new fried while I was there (Jane). I'm feeling better today. I actually went shopping this afternoon and bought a magic bullet to mix my proteins with. I made my first shake tonight. YUM YUM
