Kim Grimme in hospital

Hey, Kim seems to have a stricture or something not letting her get any food down, was having an awful time today, (probably most of the week even). Called her doc, and he has admitted her this evening. Giving her fluids (IV) and will be doing an EGD (looking down her throat, pouch and beyond) to see what's going on. She was doing a little better at the hospital with some Phenergan to help nausea and relax a little. Definately wants us all to pray for her, and I will add prayers for the doctors to find out what is wrong and give her some relief. She is at CMMC and I will post in the morning when find out more of what's going on. DeAnna

Hey Everyone... I spoke to Kim at the hospital. She was feeling alot better this morning and was able to keep broth down from dinner last night. Dr. Cleveland was coming this afternoon to do the EGD. I guess she'll know more after that is done. Keep her in your prayers and I'll let you know if I hear anything more... Karine

Hey, thanks for calling her, she appreciates you so much. I am still recuperating from surgery (hysterectomy) myself and spent yesterday dizzy and nautious myself, so I could not sit at the computer and update, but I did talk to her all during the day. DeAnna

She is feeling better, but still in the hospital as of this AM (Sat.)...Still with liquids only, and they are doing chest x-ray after the EGD yesterday. She is worried (and so am I) that they do not know what is wrong.....She has been under a LOT of stress lately, but hopefully that is coming to an end soon too. We love her so much, and she appreciates the prayers and thoughts. DeAnna
