NO!!! I think we need calcium supplements as WLS losers and if we are menopausal. If someone were to "overdose" with mega pills per dose--- well YES! I think heredity, and our eating habits both past and present influence our destiny to have kidney stones or gall stones. (FYI -- a doctor told me that Mississippi has a very high population of people w/gallstones) I use the calcium chews chocolate flavor as a treat and incentive to take them. Spring Valley brand are SUGAR FREE. Have a great weekend ---HUGGGS glenda

My sister gets collections of calcium throughout her body, but she has to take a calcium supplement, so my best guess is nope. It's just one of those thangs! smoochies Arlies PS MOST vitamins and supplements that we take are water soluable which means we tickle out what our body doesn't need.

Hi Fredrica, You need to speak to the doctor. I was told some people stock pile calcium. I have to try to get as much calcium in my food . And they only want me to take 1/2 calcium chew a one a day. Most of all each person case is not the same at least that is what my dortor said. Deit and family history plays a part in it. Wanda Weimer
