Hate to whine, but
we are seriously in debt up to our eyeballs! 
I knew we'd be pushing it to go ahead & have the surgery but I thought we could swing it. Sometimes DH works side jobs for extra $$$ & at a time he was roofing on the side & making really good $$ we picked up a few extra bills (truck, couch,etc). Now that he isn't doing many sidejobs we are really feeling it. He was supose to have 2 roofing jobs lined up. My 4 yr old begged for the last few months to get to go to preschool. I thought we'd try although it was $70 fee +$70/wk. Well, no sooner than I pay her fee's & enroll her, guess what? Those 2 jobs fell thru. THey decided they wanted to wait. Then the store DH works for started holding out $100.00 of DH check to recollect $ that they gave the workers after Katrina hit. Everyone thought it was aid & not to be paid back. DH heard it was from insurance...who knows. I think they are crooks though. SO they'll be taking $100. out of his check for the next 2 weeks & that'll be paid off, but to top it off. Baby's 1st day of preschool (8/7), we had to call an AC man to come fix our AC. That man came 3 times cuz he thought he had the darn thing fixed & realized the 3rd time around after really digging in it....$400.00!!! to fix it. Had to borrow some $ from my parents 
I hate borrowing money!!!!
Baby cried everyday she had to go to preschool & begged to stay home. We just couldn't afford it so after 1 wk...yeah 1, we withdrew her. How embarrassing. My baby's a prek drop out 
Anyway, we have bills out the WAZOO & no $. I'm going nuts. I may have to get a job but since we pulled baby out of pre k I'd have to find a babysitter. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I FEEL for you! OUrs is credit cards (for needed items) and a 14 year old girl, and a 22 year old college student that is sucking us dry!!!! I swear that boy is a money pit! If I were to shovel hundred dollar bills at him, it still wouldn't be enough. Em is still fairly reasonable with $, but I think Jon believes we have a money tree hidden in our pockets! We are in debt PASSED our eyeballs and it ain't gettin' any better.

Boy oh boy do I hear ya! I recently got a night time job to try to cover the bills. It's insane. The price of gas is REALLY REALLY eating away at our pocket book. My husband currently is a full commissioned salesman, so he doesn't get any reinbursement for his expenses. He can use a tank a day. It's INSANE! Hopefully it will all be over soon and he will have a new exciting job somewhere else! 
Hang in there and just get creative on finding a solution. It's no fun to live this way! Good luck! You will be in my prayers. I hate money -- well, you know what I mean... I guess I should say I hate bills!
