One year Anniversary check up!!!!
It has been over a year now since my surgery and I did see the doctor before coming home to Hong Kong. The Doc says that I am doing great, have done all that he would have ever wanted me to do and have reached the goal which he set. All blood work and other stats were within normal limits. He wanted me to take two vitamins a day, one in morning and one in the evening, I was only taking one in the morning. I am wearing a size 12 now and weigh about 145. He did warn me that I am now in the dangerous time which is that it is easy to gain weight and I need to pay strict attention to my diet. I am going to do this cause this year has not been easy and of course wls is a life long process which you must follow.....
I feel great, no more leg pain, I can walk for miles. Skin flab is getting better although the boobs are like Andy said, just have to roll 'em up and stuff them into the bra! LOL!!! For the first time in my life, I actually was able to buy a bra from Victoria's Secret!!!!! This journey has been a rollercoaster, but I would do it again. Thanks to all of you for your wonderful caring and supportive posts to me, it has meant so much to have you all as friends, and I will be here for you too.

It is thrilling to find clothes anywhere that are not in "Obesity Land"
I do have to watch my spending. I have found great bargains in the land of 12-14.
The folks at Catherine's Plus size are missing my precious debit card. They have stopped calling me when they get shipments.They used to be my personal shoppers.
I don' miss my nonfitting "MOO MOO"S", and "Homemade Cover The Fat Designs" I used to spend hours trying to make cute by stitching up on my sewing machine/serger.
What was I thinking??
I no longer have to buy size 5x panty hose by the dozen because they #1 are big enough #2 on sale #3 can't be found in "Non Obese shopping land" LOL LOL LOL

Congratulations, Cheryl! I still can't get over how much different you look in person compared to your pic. You're so small and just look so great!
I'm going in for my year's checkup Monday - a little late, I know. I'll be seeing your surgeron since mine's on maternity leave. Are you going to try to have a tummy tuck or anything? I'm going to ask him if it's too early for me to check into it.
