Can one of you tell me exactly when the CMMC support group meets?

I was told second Tuesday of each month. When I called to verify that TWICE on the Tuesday morning I was told "oh, no it was last night." (Monday) I really want to attend but I need to know for sure when the meeting is as I will be driving from Vicksburg !! and with the price of gas .... !!!! Thanks, Cheryl

I was always told Tuesday night as well.....but I can't be 100% sure. Email Adam and ask.......maybe he'll respond.

Cheryl, The support group meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 12th. They had a WLS seminar the Monday before,and evidently whoever you spoke with just got it confused. Hope to see you at the next support meeting - September 12th @ 7pm! Marci

Hello, I'm having RNY in Pascagoula on Tuesday with Dr. Avara, but I had my psych visit with Dr. Hawks in Jackson. Since it will be too far for me to travel from Vicksburg to attend support group meetings, Dr. Hawks invited me to join the group at CMMC. She wrote on the back of her card that the meetings are on 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:30 - 7:00 for post-op patients only and 7:00 - 8:00 for everyone. I'm planning to attend the Sep 12th meeting. Looking forward to meeting you guys (and REALLY, REALLY looking forward to getting surgery behind me & making it to the losing side!) Pam

Hi Pam, Dr. Hawks does have a group session with post-op patients (no spouses allowed) from 5:30pm-7:00pm, then we have our regular group session (spouses and support people are allowed at this one!) starting at 7:00pm. I don't get off wor****il 4:30pm and there is no way to get my kids to the sitter and be there by 5:30pm, so I just go to the regular meeting at 7pm. Hope to see you at the next meeting!
