Hi WLS Family, I am home. I went in and they but me to nighty nite. Woke up and stayed over night in the hosp. I had a drain tube so that's why I decided to stay overnight. It was my decision. No need in getting out one evening and being back up there the next morning just to get the drain tube out. Dr said he had to cut me a little more than he thought, cause once he got in there, he discovered that there were 2 hernias ... not just the 1 that he had thought. But he repaired it with mesh and sewing me up.. then put clamps on the outside of my tummy. I want to thank each of you for your prayers. God is so good. And I dont think I would have under went this surgery if I didnt know that my surgeon was a Christian. He prayed for me before surgery. I had my local surgeon to repair the hernias in stead of Dr Cleveland. The only reason I let someone else do it is cause Dr C is about 100 miles from me and with gas being $3 a gallon.. I didnt have the $$ to drive over there for a surgery date, surgery, clamps out, and then a follow up visit (if there was one). But I wish that I could have let Dr C do it cause he knows how he re-routed everything in there. But after all this is said... I will close by saying. .Thanks for all your prayers. If you have any ?s about my surgery just email me. Love ya WLS Family, Jo
