Hernia Sugery Monday

Hi WLS Family, Pls be praying for me. I go in to Rush Hosp for Incissional Hernia Surgery. I have a incarerated hernia. Dr James Matthews will be doing my surgery. Jo

hey Jo, I will have you in my prayers about your surgery. Can you tell me what the doctor told you about your surgery? I too, have an inscisional hernia, but my doc doesnt want me to repair it until i lose all my weight. did he tell you how he will repair it? i have been told that you can get a tummy tuck at the same time they do the hernia repair. later crystal

Of course I missed it and didnt see this till today, so I m hoping that everything went just fine for ya and that you'll be up and around in no time. I 've been lucky with hernias but I've been told that the risk stays with us, past the first year, to get a hernia, which I had no idea! I thought the risk is only for a year or so.
