Sunday Weigh-in 8-6--06
I am exactly one month out and have lost 12 pounds. I keep my daily protein between 80-100grams, and seem never to exceed 650-750 calories a day. I must admit, I don't exercise like I should. My weight loss is sloww compared to others. My Pre-op BMI was 39.999 at 231 pounds and I needed to lose 85 pounds. This Sunday (official weigh in day) I weighed 219 so that's 12 pounds where I come from. I can see now that my weight loss is going to be very slow and will try not to let this discourage me. My goal is to weigh 150, so I have roughly 70 pounds to lose. I wonder when I
ll see my goal. I read somewhere you can expect to lose 10-20% of your excess weight per month. So, if I needed to lose 85 pounds (according to doc) 10% is 8 pounds and I lost 12, so I guess i lost 12% of my excess weight. Now next month I would hope to lose 7-14 pounds, being 10-20%, right? and So on, for each month. Correct me if I am wrong. I would just love to hear from my fellow WLS friends. Krisi
