meeting in meridian

Hello everyone !! It's that time again for our monthly meeting/get-together/laughathon. I just want to invite any & everyone who's interested in a support group for Gastric Bypass patients or past patients or wanna be patients to come to East Miss. Electric Power Assn. in Meridian, Ms. - on 39 North - Monday 8/7/06 @ 5:30 pm in the auditorium. Just turn in at the "jet plane" on a stick & thats the driveway - then come on down to the far end of the building. I wish there had been a group like this - available - before my surgery - here in Meridian. I had a wonderful Doctor in Amy Rose in Biloxi - but unfortunately she & the whole program are gone from there - now. Last month, several brought something they had worn before their weight loss, plus pictures ---which was absolutely amazing to see the great differences -- some folks were totally unrecognizable -- but thats a GOOD thing - huh ? I'll will again have something "legal" for us to drink & snack on - if you like. Also - I would like to request that anyone who has a "protein" drink or mix or whatever - "protein" something -- THEY like -- to bring the box or package or name to the meeting. As many know - PROTEIN is one of the most important things to get alot of after this surgery This seems to be the one thing alot of us have trouble finding AND liking. If you have any protein drinks or mixes you wouldn't mind donating - that YOU didn't like --- maybe there will be someone at the meeting who WOULD like it or at least like to TRY it (totally voluntary).
