CMMC info about surgery and surgeons!

I saw in my local paper today where CMMC is now going to start offering lapband surgery. I was kind of surprised because it seems that CMMC is having a hard time keeping everything together these days. First, Jeannie left and now Dr. Ferrugia has retired or something like that. I know of alot of patients from there who are getting really frustrated with CMMC, myself included. I went through alot after my surgery, and I am extremely frustrated that my surgeon will no longer be seeing me and I have to start seeing someone else. I know Dr. Cleveland is a good doctor, but he's not my doctor! I was suppose to have an appointment this past Wednesday and luckily I called up there the day before to see if Dr. Ferrugia was going to be there. They told me that he wouldn't ,but they had me scheduled to see Adam. Nothing against Adam, but he's not a doctor. Why would I drive an hour and a half just to get weighed and see Adam? So, I cancelled my appointment and rescheduled it so I could see Dr. Cleveland. I hope CMMC can get everything straightened out soon before they start losing patients. Jackie

Strange things are afoot at CMMC but I'm hoping they are about to get it together. I have heard that the problems are almost entirely the result of what the hospital board wants the doctors to do and not what the doctors themselves want to do. Sandra said the other day that things are starting to settle down. Growing pains stink no matter what.

I've tried contacting them a few times about them performing fills for LapBand patients that weren't banded there. I guess I'll give it some time before trying again. I am unable to get my questions answered, but maybe they just need more time to get their stuff together.

No one there returns my calls. I've been trying for 3 weeks. I've emailed and called a zillion times to get info on why the doctor refused to do my surgery. I'm pretty much fed up with the place.
