Finally made it back to my lowest weight 148.5. Guess cheating for a few days really was not worth it. It has been so hard for me to lose even one pound after the first 12 months. I will try to be more careful from now on. I did take my vitamins this week. How about y'all? I did not do as well with water and exercise. I am going to set a goal to exercise at least four times this week. I know we should exercise everyday but it is just not possible for me right now. Hey Sonya! I did take my vitamins, but not doing to good with the fluids! Danny went and got me a snow cone maker and I found a recipe for SF snow cone syrups! The snow cone machines were on clearance at Wal-Mart so I told him to go back and get me another one for work! I hope snow cones count as fluids... lol Before Surgery: 332 Today: 281 Total Loss: 51

Hello my friends in Mississippi, I am stuck at 212# and can't seem to get below it. My start weight was 288# and my goal is 160-150. Got a way to go yet. I've been at a church mission site this week, in Pearlington, Mississippi, and their meals are wonderful but high in carbs, but I don't have to eat them do I ? Next week I will be in Biloxi taking classes on Grief and Spiritual Counciling but I intend to be more prepared with my own snacks and protein. What is a good protein powder that I can mix with jus****er ????????????????? When I go in the future to disaster sites I'll have to have protein with me and we will have bottled water. What I use now is premixed and has to be refrigerated, which ain't gonna happen on a site. The prodigal turnip, Tomanip

Drink, drink, drink your water!!! When I stop losing weight, I look back at my daily diary of food intake. Usually, the reason I am gaining or not losing is because I was drinking fluids while eating which is a big no no. It compacts that food and allows you to eat to much. It also flushes the necessary vitamins right out of the body. The body then thinks it is not getting the necessary nutrition so it grabs onto every calorie it can get. Sonya

Hey! I did okay this week, got back to my weight that I was at prior to cruise. I had an Urinary Tract Infection last weekend and I think that could be what was making me weigh higher, anyway, I am back to 115. Starting weight 240. I took my vitamins but still have a hard time with my fluids every day. I start a new job tomorrow, yikes.. I am nervous. I will be working in the attendance office at Gulfport High School. I wanted to get into a school to work, because I have changed my major in college to education. So now I will be working in the field, in a few more semesters I may start assistant teaching. Anyway, talk to you soon and I will try to do better with my fluids and try to exercise some this week. Rhonda

didnt know my wt yesterday so i wted this am at the gym! highest 285 surgery 271 today 176 someday soon i hope 165 going back to protein and raw veggies only for a while giving up my carbs and donuts!! haha so hopefully i can get there soon where i can get my new boobies!! DAWN~~~
