I am watching Discovery Health channel. Jackie and Robins story-- losing 800 lbs. I cry every time I see this and I have seen this several times. It is a reality check for me. It makes me thankful for my WLS (02.02.04). I am thankful for losing 250 lbs. I am thankful that my panis/hernias repair/ recon surgery (one year ago Aug 1) had so few complications. I am very thankful that these surgeries allowed me to find the lumps in my breasts and have them removed before the big "C" word invaded. I live alone-- so yall I just had to share that w/ yall. I AM BLESSED!!!!!!!! PLEASE REMIND ME LEST I FORGET. HUGS TO ALL MY FRIENDS ON THE BOARD. GLENDA

Glenda, Their stories get to me, also. That is the reason we must do our best to be successful at wls! The insurance companies are looking for those few that fail so that they can say wls is not successful. It has been a lifesaver for me. Thanks for always being there to support all of us those this difficult but worthwhile journey!!! Sonya

I totally agree about the insurance watching the success rate. We are the ones who will make a difference in their future decisions. Good luck to all of us. Glenda
