One more hurdle out of the way.... more to come......
We had our sleep study Monday night. Walter has severe sleep apnea. I have a mild case but meet the requirements for c-pap. Walter has to have bi-pap. We were fitted with our equipment this morning. Thought that was our last hurdle. Insurance company requires a 3 month doctor supervised diet. Dr. Salameh's nurse said they were meeting today to discuss the right plan. Like everyone else, we have to do what is required to get this done.
Had my cardiac ablation last week. It was an ordeal. My blood pressure dropped, they pumped me full of fluid. Walter said I was so swollen,my head looked like a basketball. He said he was going to have to dribble me to the car!!!!! It took me about 5 days to get over it. My cardiologist said he thought I would do well with my WLS. I am so glad he is supportive.
So now it looks like the end of the year for Walter and then after the 1st of next year for me. I have waited this long, What will 5 more months matter? More later as the saga continues.........
