Happy Anniversary to me!!!!

Today is my one year anniversary of my surgery! I bought a swim suit today, it is a one piece with a short skirt thing but still.....never thought I would wear one again. I am at my goal weight and doing great. I feel like I am 25 again!!!! Thanks to everyone for their support. I dont always post but do check the boards daily. I have learned a lot from everyone. Congratulations Amy!!! I'm very happy for you. I don't know if I'll ever wear a swimsuit. Actually, I've never owned one. Anyway, be proud of yourself because you so richly deserve it. Thanks for the encouragement you've given me along my early postop course. Ree Ree

You will wear one. I said the same thing a year ago. Hope you are doing well post op. Everyday gets better pain wise and loosing weight you will feel better. You are going to have so many "firsts" after the storm I moved to colorado a BIG first for me was being able to shovel snow!!!! Thank goodness no snow here. We lived in maine from 1999-2005 we got at least 100 inches a year! I was never able to help my husband. Now I can. I wish you all the luck in the world and remember we are all here for you! Congrats on your anniversary! It is amazing how much a year can change a person. I know that you have had a very difficult year dealing with the results of the storm, it has been a trying time for a lot of us. But we are stronger now and have been able to pick ourselves up and move on. I hope that you continue to have success and hope that we can spend some time together soon. Call me sometime. Rhonda
