SURGERY DATE!!! :)

Hey Girls... I just got back from my appointment with Adam. My surgery date is scheduled for July 31st. A day before my birthday... Can you say "re-birth"?? I go tomorrow for my pre-op testing at CMMC, meet with the nutritional counselor, and to meet my surgeon (Dr. Erin Cummins). Only a week and a half until I'm on the losing side!!! Karine

Way to go Karine! Dr. Cleveland did my surgery, but I meet Dr. Cummins when I was admitted to the hospital a few weeks back for dehydration. She is so nice and very friendly, I think you will love her! Marci

Karine that is wonderful!!!!!! I am so happy for you. You are correct when you say rebirth. Tomorrow is my one year mark and I have felt more alive this last year than I did the last 10 years I was 260+ pounds. Congrats you will be in my prayers for a great experience! Amy

Congrats on getting a date. I know you are so excited. It is truly a rebirth. When I woke up from surgery, the room I was in at the hospital was my birth date. I was born 9/19, and I was in room 919. I thought that was pretty cool. Keep us posted and if you need anything just yell. Melissa
