Lap Band surg in MS??

Anyone ever had lap band surgery in Mississippi? I would have to be cash-pay...because my insurance has a written exclusion for any surgery/programs (including bypass) relating to weight. My question....I have the $ to pay for lap band....and fills...but what if there are complications afterwards....??? which is an unknown .. Anyone had similar experience?? Also, who in MS did you use for lap band? Contemplating using Dr. King in Oxford, MS...I live in Jackson, MS, but Dr. Carroll is too expensive. Any complications? Thanks!!

I went to Dr Salameh in Jackson. They are great. No problems. The pice was around 15000 and includes all your fills. Everyone here on the MS board is a bypass so I rarely check it. Good luck!

I hear great things about Dr. King's group in Oxford. There is also a group in Covington, LA that is excellent. Have you checked with the CMMC group? Keep us posted. smoochies Arlies ps I live by the reservior.
