Good Morning Everyone! I hope this week was full of success! Success comes in many different forms ... meeting a new friend, losing a tenth of a pound, learning something new, accomplishing a small goal, holding your tongue when you really wanted to say something to that unkind person, etc. Try not to over look the small things in life. What successes have you had this week? As for me, no weight loss but I did maintain. I am a school counselor on summer vacation. My success for the week is getting to spend quality time with my hubby and children. I celebrate the fact that I do not get tired after playing with the kids. Don't you mean you're 149 instead of 249? I'm happy to say that I'm down this week. I seem to stall for a couple of weeks, then suddenly drop 4 pounds. I'm okay with this, though, because my skin seems to be keeping up so far! (except for my breasts which are becoming so small and saggy ) pre-op 300 today 222 loss of -78 pounds since 2/28/06 thanks for making this thread. I tend to get discouraged day in and day out, but I can go back to this thread and see progress. mary

Mary, Uh oh! I did mean 149 instead on 249. I was in the 200's for so long that it is hard for me to remember to put a one. You are doing great! Don't get discouraged. You are doing absolutely awesome!!! Hugs, Sonya

Maintaining is very hard! We will all help support each other!!! No weight gain for us. We all have come too far to throw this away. Everytime I want to eat something that is nonallowed, I am going to try to remember what it felt like when I was reading the post before surgery. I would see where people had been blessed with having bypass and all they did was cheat on their diets. It hurt so much! I remember thinking if I can ever have that surgery I will try not to thow this once in a lifetime opportunity away. God blessed us with this intervention. Let's do the best that we possibly can to follow the post-op diet. Good luck, Sonya
