MERIDIAN SUPPORT GROUP MEETING!!!!!

Got a note from Judi Nutt today: "Hey Ya'll !!!! Just a reminder about our Gastric Bypass Support Group Meeting - Monday - July 3rd, 2006 -- 5:30 pm -- @ East Miss. Electric Power Assn. auditorium. If you've had "the surgery" (& want to) -- please bring an old article of clothing - you wore - "before" your surgery AND a "before" picture of yourself (if you have one). It's fun to see how much we've changed & to pat ourselves on the back - for a job - "well done" !! I had so much FUN at our last meeting - (its always good - when you can laugh at "yourself" AND at "Billy Ray" !) I'll have somthing "legal" for us to munch on -- but if someone else would like to bring something -- we LOVE being "guinea pigs" .New receipe's are always welcome & give us new ideas for something different - to try. I know "I" can get in a rut - real easy. If you know of anyone interested in or curious about "the surgery" - or if you know of anyone that's had the surgery & needs to be with those of us who have already "been there" & need continuing support --- PLEASE invite them. I know myself & I will always need to be held accountable - because as we all know -- this is no magic bullett -- only a tool - to lose the weight --- we can STILL gain it back (as I have - so MANY times before) -- its just a little harder to do - THIS way. I live in fear every day - of gaining it back & now that I have my "new" knees - I sure don't want to do that. I look forward to seeing all of you & new faces too - Monday evening !!!
