I am s-l-o-w-l-y teaching myself to swim and am spending anywheres from 2 to 4 hours a day at the pool. Yesterday I swallowed 1/2 the pool on two different occasions - I CAN swim, it's just that I am NOT very calm about it!!! And this morning I weighed and I am UP 10 LBS!!!!! I know that muscles weigh more than fluff and I surely haven't been eating enough to gain 10 lbs and I am starting to see a little bit of muscle tone, but it could also be the amount of cholorinated water I am swallowing!! Anyhows, I know it will level off and I will start dropping again soon, but ain't it discouraging????? I am gonna get my bike off lay-away this weekend and if my knees will tolerate it, I will be riding when I am not in the pool. Ya'll have a great weekend and if you are up by the reservior, stop by and I'll show you how the Queen flails about in the water!!! smoochies Arlies

Arlies, That pool water is very heavy! At least 5lbs a lung. It jus****er weight and it will come right off. I wish I had a pool. I would be in it everyday coolin' off from this heat! And I would not be soooooo white! My legs are a rather scary sight. Enjoy your new bike! Cindi
