It's My Birthday!!!!!!!
Well, today is the unofficial national holiday....my 35th birthday. Hard to imagine. Seems as though I was only 18 yesterday and in high school. Yes, it's my birthday and I'm excited!!! Although I have to work and this is something that I never do because it's my date and I usually truly enjoy "my day" as one of leisure. I haven't posted but to let my extended family know I have a date of ........JULY 11!!!!!!!! I met with Jeannie on 6-27 and I'm having my nutritonal counseling 7-5 with EGD on 7-6 with Dr. Cleveland. I'm getting very nervous needless to say. It's been a long hard journey. BCBS MS doesn't cover WLS so I'd been looking to other options as far as paying for surgery because by no means are we rich. If you all remember, my DH purchased a trailer to haul FEMA debris, had it for six weeks and it was stolen. This was my means to pay for surgery. I really got depressed. During this time, my HTN was becoming more uncontrolled so I knew that I needed this surgery. Finally after securing my funds, I've been able to get surgery scheduled. If there's anyone out there who doesn't believe in God, then try mine because He's awesome and worthy. He can truly make a way out of no way and able to do anything except fail. He said that He'd give us the desires of our heart if we'd only learn to lean, trust, and depend on Him. I have a wonderful husband who has been by my side for eleven years. Also, I have two beautiful children that are my motivation to become healthy. Again, just wanted everyone to know that it is a beautiful day and I'm going rejoice and be glad in it. Happy Birthday, O most gorgeous one!!!! Just think one morning you will wake up and that little cute guy of yours will be 22 years old and you will REALLY wonder how that happened!!! Trust me on that!!!
And you have another birthday coming up!!! WOOHOO!!!!! Don't be scairt! They put you to sleep for the REALLY painful part - lol. You will do great! The more positive your outlook the better you'll do! And you have a great attitude, but just in case I will start naggin The Miracle Maker to make it easy for you!

I hope everything goes smooth for you and there are no problems. I'm finally getting to go back to work on July 10 after being off work for almost 3 months. I'm still not even close to having all my strength back yet, but I'm down 50 lbs. so I'm happy. Call me, I'd love to talk to you. Have a great day!
