Leaving for Six Flags
Well, I worked my last day at my job yesterday. I have been there nine years. I hated to leave because I dearly love all of the people. But things haven't been the same there since the company changed hands. Plus, my new job is a promotion and excellent opportunity for me. And it is a good company. I am excited about the change. Plus, I will only be a few miles away from the old company and can still meet all my buddies for lunch.
So, before I start my new job next week we are taking a vacation. We are leaving mid morning today. We are going to Six Flags amusement park in Atlanta. And then about 15 miles away there is a Six Flags Water park. We are going to hit both places and have a blast. We will be gone until Sunday. I have always loved roller coasters and stuff. But after I got big after my son was born I couldn't ride them. So, since losing the weight I ride a roller coaster every chance I get.
We will have internet at our hotel and John is taking the lap top. So, I will be checking in on you guys. Otherwise, I would miss ya'll.
You guys keep praying for my sister. The doctors still do not know what is wrong with her. She may be having a liver biopsy next week. She is scared to death.
I hate to go out of town and all while she is sick and not knowing what she has, but I am leaving her in really good hands. My mom will baby her and take excellent care of her. And, of course, I will call them every day.
