Hey Marci---how are you
Just wanted to see how you were doing? I see you posting but you don't comment on how your weight loss is coming. How long ago was your surgery and are you feeling good? Just want an update.
My daughter hears from her blood work tomorrow morning. I will let all of you know.
Bye for tonight. So tired. VBS in the mornings and was with hubby tonight at his church in Tylertown. Got back in at 11--went by someones house and visited.
See you
Jane
It is so good to see you back. I have been thinking of you and praying that you are feeling better. I have been a bit under the weather myself this week, I don't know what is going on with me. My tummy is not liking anything that I am putting in it. I have had the worst cramps I have ever had in my life, not to mention major bloating every time I eat. I may end up going to the ER this weekend if it is does not get better. I have not thrown up in a long time until this week, and now every time I eat, I get bad cramps and I end up gagging, not really throwing up, just dry heaving. It is a horrible feeling. Mine could very well be dehydration as well. I have a serious problem when it comes to drinking enough.
Take care of yourself,
Rhonda
Hey Rhonda,
Girl I sympathize with ya! It ain't no fun that is for sure.... You better go get it checked out since it started all of a sudden! That dry heaving is no fun... You think it might be stress and nerves from all that has been going on? If you don't go to the ER, atleast call your doctor and see if he has any ideas.
I can take one bite of soup and start burping so bad. Seems like I am burping all day long, even if I haven't eaten anything.... I have been taking the chewable gas-x pills, but you can only have 4 in one day and they just are not working!
I go back to Dr. Cleveland next week, I might have to knock Danny out first, because I know he will tell Dr. Cleveland that I am not drinking enough, not taking the protein, and not walking.... I know Danny does it because he loves me and he wants me to get better, but it just sounds so harsh - like someone is tattling on you (which I guess he is), I just need to beat him to the punch and tell Dr. Cleveland right off the bat!
Keep me posted on how you are feeling....
Love ya,
Marci
I am feeling much better today. Since I had my gallbladder surgery, I get a lot of trapped gas, and it hurts like crazy. Last night, I had a really bad attack of some kind. I think I ate too much.. We went to a local casino and had the buffet and I ate and ate and ate... but I only ate crab legs.. just probably too many. LOL.. It was hard to stop, they were so good!
You do need to drink, but I know that it is hard. Trust me. I went through the same thing that you are going through. They would tell me I need to drink 96 oz a day, and I would be lucky if I drank 40 oz. It gets easier with time. Just drink different things, sugar free kool aid is good, and lots of tea. I am a tea aholic. Danny is just trying to look out for you, don't be too hard on him. Hang in there, it will get better.
Love,
Rhonda
Hey precious.... I am hanging in there! Had a few set backs - was back in the hospital two weeks ago with dehydration. Dr. Cleveland thought I might have a bowel obstruction but the tests came back fine. They told me it was just severe dehydration. I am so tired and don't have much energy at all. I know it is because I am having a hard time with the protein and getting my fluids in. It just feels like most of the time everything is sitting in my throat. Danny is on me all the time to keep drinking - but I swear at times if I take one more drink I am going to throw up! It has just been so hard... especially eating. I am mainly sticking to broth and soups because anytime I try anything else I get sick or feel like I am going to be sick. Dr. Cleveland found a stricture two weeks ago and fixed it, so I know that is not the problem. I guess my little pouch is just not a happy camper right now! Dear hubby is fussing at me to start walking, but by the time I get home from work I am so tired and just don't feel like it. I know it is because I am not getting the protein and fluids like I should, I have to find a way to do better with this!
Anyway, how are things going with you? Thanks for taking the time to ask about me, I have mainly been lurking because I just don't feel like sitting at the computer very long, but I am trying to keep up with everyone. As for weight loss, I had lost down to 41 pounds two weeks ago, but when they put me in the hospital they added 10 pounds of fluid back with that IV! So, as of Wednesday I am down 37 pounds!
Love ya,
Marci
