Battle of the Bulge!!!!!
Thought I would post some things that you can do to help yourself during your weight loss and to keep the weight off!!!!
1-Invest in a digital scale. They cost a bit more but Weigh****chers has a nice one that is about 20 bucks at Wal-Mart. They are totally accurate!
2-Weigh yourself! If you go up a pound or two, it is definately a day that you need to cut the snacks and exercise. I do this all the time, and if I have indulged too much, it does show on the scale. The trick is not to let the weight get away from you.....
3-Get some sugar free snacks and keep some on hand when you need a bite of something. I learned from Susan Maria's book that you need to keep things on hand which are sugar free, and remember that they also do have calories.....
4-Do not eat anything with sugar. So many products are loaded with sugar that it is easy to fool yourself into thinking it will be ok if you have a little. Not true! You do not need the sugar, it is poison to you and will make you even hungrier!
5-Chips are a big pitfall for dieters. Try crackers instead if you need a bit of something crunchy. I like soda crackers and you can get them unsalted. A couple of crackers are better than chips cause chips have lots of fat in them, and it is easy to eat a lot in a hurry!
6-Keep some fruit salad in the fridge. Make yourself a small fruit salad and put a little splenda on it. It tastes yummy and is good when you want a snack, just eat the fruit instead. Much healthier!
7-Start walking more and more. Park the car far away, and walk, or walk down the street a couple of blocks to the store and walk back. Walking is good for you, it tightens up loose skin and tissue! It increases your heart rate and you will feel better for it too!8-If you want something to drink, make yourself a glass of iced tea with splenda or jus****er with splenda and a few slices of lemon! Tastes great, and it is cheap too!
8-Plan ahead and try to eat lots of green veggies. It will help you to go to the pottie and to get rid of weight too!!!!
