More Tests

Thank you guys for all the prayers. Keep them coming. They are very hopeful that my sister does not have cancer. They said she had symptoms of Hodgkins but some symptoms were thyroid and other symptoms indicated other possible things. So, they sent her to a doctor that deals with patients like her with weird stuff going on. He diagnosed her almost immediately by looking at all of her records from all the doctors that she has seen in trying to get well. There is a test that can be done really easily and quickly through bloodwork that can confirm or disprove his diagnosis. She goes for that test tomorrow. They think she has Addison's Disease. The only scary thing is once you find out you have it you have to find out the cause which can sometimes but rarely be due to a lymphoma cancer. Most cases are simply caused by adrenal system disfuntion which is treatable with injections. Anyway, keep the prayers coming. She is very weak and of course depressed because she just wants to know what she has so she can deal with it and feel better. I will update you guys as we know more. Melissa

I will keep praying for your sister and your family! I hope you find the results out fast and do not have to wait long to know what is what...then they can start your sister on her meds and she will feel much better! Hugs, Danielle
