hard time getting things going

I have worked and worked to try to get surgery going. gotten psych eval. done, nutrition eval. done....I am certain insurance will not pay, especially for lap band, since it is stated in the handbook that it will not. I am fully ready to pay or finance, as my credit is great, but it seems I keep hitting a brick wall. I have tried two doctors already, but must I get a official denial from my insurance before they will let me pay out of pocket?

I dunno. But maybe you could have the doc submit the pre-approval to your insurance so that they know for sure your insurance won't pay. It is a long, long patience trying procedure to get your surgery. Hang in there, tho, it's WELL worth the wait! smoochies Arlies
