Almost 2 months out, what is the best thing to eat at this time? Can't find my paperwork anywhere. I have tried different things, most does not set too well, I can eat tuna and a couple of multi grain crackers, a little bowl of plain corn flakes, veg soup. Feel free to make suggestions. So far I have lost about 40 lbs. Going to bed now, too much sunshine today!

By the time I was two months out, I was trying all kinds of different things, anything that I felt that I wanted, and if it worked then I would eat it again, if it didn't then I would wait a while before trying it again. You will need to start eating new foods, one at a time, that way if you dump or do not tolerate it well, you know exactly what it is that you ate. Tuna seems to be easy on most people, it is a safe food with high protein. I also would eat any other broiled fish or shrimp, seafood is very light and has always worked well for me. Everyone's body is different, so some foods may work for you that did not work for others and vice versa. At this point in your journey, I would suggest that you keep a food log, so that you know what foods work well for you. I wish you the best of luck, sounds like you are doing very well so far. I did like Rhonda. I tried different things off of other friends plates until I found something that I liked and could tolerate. I stuck mainly to protein with little or no carbs. During the summer, I ate watermelon and cantalope. Sonya 275/154/145 -121 lbs. gone forever 9 pounds until doctor's goal for me/ 24 pounds until my goal for me

I liked ground beef in spaghetti sauce. Just go lite on the noodles. Also I used to make the ground beef in a white sauce and have it with mashed potatos. I liked blackeyed peas and baby green lima beans cooked soft, they went down well too. For breakfast, you might try multi grain bread with a little butter, cinnamon and splenda for a change. I also have always been able to manage cheese toast. Sometimes I could eat a little peanut butter on toast too. Another thing that I liked quite a lot was homemade vegtable soup. I would pressure cook the beef or chicken until very tender then add fresh veggies. Believe it or not, raw salmon, sashmi goes down great. Shrimp is pretty easy to digest too. Could not tolerate much mayo tho. Soft scrambled eggs are good, and you can make french toast with splenda. Watermelon was a fruit I could eat very early on, I guess because it was not too dense. Most melons usually go down well, bu****ermelon was the best. Bananas were always too filling. One of my big standbys was plain saltine crackers. If nothing else worked, I would just have plain crackers. Iced tea is good too..... Maybe this will give you some ideas. It is hard to think at first when your food choices are small amounts! Cheryl
