WOOWHOO, I am on my WAY!!!!

I just got off the phone with Humana... I got a REFERRAL!!! I am going to Dr. Lord's seminar on JUNE 15th. From there they will arrange an appointment for my consultation... YEA!!!! I can't beleive it. A week ago I had all but given up HOPE!! Oh Yea... Smoked my last cig on SATURDAY!!! No more cigs for me!!! Dh is happy with that! The ONLY thing I am not happy about is having to travel to Pensacola - BUT Dr. Lord sounds like a VERY good doctor!! HIP HIP HOORAY!! Hugs, Connie

I really can't wait. Yet, somehow it is still surreal. I am afraid if I really think about it I will back out. I am scared to have surgery - but know it will change my life for the better! Thanks, Connie

I am not sure if I do or not. I know I snore at times, but not bad. Hubby says I don't quit breathing. I can't lay on my back cause that is when I snore. When I had my GB out, I stopped breathing in the recovery room (one reason I am so scared to have another surgery), but they just did some sternal pressure and I "woke up." It might not be a bad idea. I will try to call my pcm. THANKS!
