I am allergic to pinapple - if I eat anything that has pineapple I break out with ulcers all in my mouth and down my throat. I had a doctor tell me to mix equal amounts of mylanta and liquid benadryl. You can keep this stored in the refrigerator. You put some in your mouth and swi**** around really well and then spit it out. The benedryl helps deaden the pain and the mylanta coats the ulcers. You can use this as often as you need to for pain (remember to spit it out and not swallow it!) Hope this helps! Marci

Mix one teaspoon of mylanta and benedryl together and swish with one teaspoon of the mixture. It numbs it. This is great for children when their throat is sore or sometimes babies get the blisters in their mouth. This helps especially if you can't eat to do it right before you put food in oyur mouth. Jane
