Hey Jane, I sure hope you are feeling better! I talked with Robyn yesterday and she can't make it but she said she can't wait to see us all at the support group meeting. I could not get a hold of Rita. I think our Queen is coming last I heard but hopefully she will post to this message and confirm. THe stone that is the problem--I have two--is too big to pass. It is however trying to make that turn from kidney to tube. So far nothing is blocked or a big problem. Next Thurs I go in outpatient and have lithotripsy done. That is where they strap you down and put oyu out and pound the tar out of the little bugger with laser beams and such. It is sore and painful afterwards. One you are bruised and 2 you are trying to then pass the little pieces created from the treatment. I worry some because he said it might take more than one time. Well that means they won't be very little. Pain big time. And I don't have insurance. This is normally 25,000 a pop. He is giving 50% and I t hink I will pay only 10,000 because the clinic is cheaper than the hosp. Just remembe r me at 8 am Thursday the 13th. THanks for your concern. Go ahead and plan a day for the next luncheon with Sara. That way we can put it on our calendars. One Friday lunch or friday night would be good. Just let us know. Jane

That sounds horrible Jane, I am so sorry you are having to go through that pain. I would not wish that on my worst enemy.. It is ridiculous how much a hospital/doctor charges to help people with health issues. I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers and hope that it is as painless as possible for you.
