Those of you that used Forrest General

Do you happen to know if the surgery can be paid with a credit card (mastercard)? I don't want to use it if I don't have to (just paid the sucker off) but if you read my post the other day we are in a little financial rut at the moment. Just need to know so I'll have a 'plan b' if needed. Of course I'll be talking to Janet sometime soon & I'll definately ask her.

FGH financied my surgery for me through a local credit union. I financied $14,000. They give you a huge discount if you let them finance for you. Even if you go over the 14 that is all you pay they will write off the rest. In fact Mine was closer to $20 but like I said I only paid the $14 and that way I also got to write it off of my taxes. I do not know why they wouldnt... Have you tried vocational rehab to see if they would help you with the hospital fees? They did me.

HEY MELISSA i did pay my out of pocket with my creditcard to forrestgeneral. it was only 1700 though, but im sure they will let u pay whatever with it i just know u have to pay it all before surgery.what all is ur ins covering for u? it is united health care huh? the same as me. crystal

No Crystal, it's BSBC FL. I'm having to pay $4218. out of pocket since my deductible isn't met. Thanks for all the replies. & Crystal, I know its a little early for you to have cravings but I was having a craving the other day!!! I swear it felt like the pregnancy cravings...for green olives. Green olives are ok, but something I RARELY have...I sure don't buy them. We went to my cousins wedding shower Sunday & I had some there. Came home craving green olives & pickles! I told DH, this feels like pregnancy cravings! IT"S NOT YA'LL...or better not be! lol!

u better hope ur not!!! no all i can really stand is water and at night i can eat but i can hardly eat anything during the day til late afternoon but i try bc i know that i have to! dramamine and regular coke are my friend. there is somehting in the coke that soothes nausea a er dr told me i cant remember what. janet told me not to drink it but i only do a few sips at a time. u do what works!!!im sure it will get better soon i have my first ultrasound tomorrow to confirm my dates. cant wait to see the little peanut!anyway im glad things are working for u.
