Does anyone have Umbilical Pain?

I have Umbilical pain it started last pm, and this morning I took tylenol and it eased the pain a little but still hurts so has anyone else had this problem Lisa

Your belly buckle hurts? I haven't had this, so I don't know, but if it's not getting better or gone by Monday, check with the doc.... smoochies Arlies

Hi. I haven't had WLS & of course no doctor, but it could be an umbilical hernia. Especially if you've had any kind of Lap surgery. I had Gall Bladder surgery in Nov. 2002 & several months later my belly button area hurt. Doctors checked & said they felt weekness but not hernia. Well in May of last year it started bulging out so I was pretty sure it was a hernia. My family dr. confirmed it. I tried to go longer w/o surgery but made it till July & knew I was bad off. Then after the hurican I had enough. Got a consultation & surgery date & had it taken care of in October. 2 wks after surgery I felt better than I did before Gall bladder surgery. They think it was due to weakness in the ab muscles from surgery. I hope to never experience that pain again. I used alot of heating patches & Bengay to help with pain. Hope you feel better soon.

Previously I had an umbilical hernia, had it repaired before the WLS surgery. The other day, I lifted a bag of clothes and felt pain in the tummy area, for awhile, so will not be lifting anything for a long long time!
