Anyone going to the cooking expo at Lake terrace convention center tonight?????? I love to use Taste of Home recipes. Even tho many are off limits to me. They do have low cal and fat free recipes. I hope to see you there. glenda

I was recruited to work it tonight but then realized I am a single mom... haha.. I am not going but I think you will have a good time. We are sponsors and our publisher will be taking tickets at the door (which is what I was supposed to be doing)... I dont cook so watching someone else cook wasnt exciting enough for me. Wish I had known - I would have gotten you some tickets.

Christine had asked me to go, but I knew this week would be tough. Way too much going on. I have to wor****il 6:00 tonight. The company I work for is changing names and software and everything again and we have to work Sat. and Sun. too. Bummer. I have a house to get cleaned before company arrives for Stephens' birthday cookout. I have John's mom coming to stay a week or several days at least. I need some mini me's to help me out LOL. Of course, John being the sweet heart that he is, is helping me out so I don't get overly stressed. But I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy going so have some fun for me. Melissa

Hi Glenda, Sounds like fun but I can't make it either. We are a host house for the Disciple Now weekend at church and we will have 12 8th grade boys throughout the weekend. They are a blast to have around, so it will be a fun but chaotic weekend! I love to cook and would have enjoyed the outing! Take care, Elesha

I would have LOVED this and went with you in a heart beat! Unfortunately traveling finances are short this month - in fact, I told Jim if he needs gas to get to work, he should really consider walking..... smoochies ARlies
